I guess I subconciously used things you mentioned as examples to illustrate my overall theme (which wasn't inspired by your blog). However, <I>Serenity</I> was the trigger for my post...the fawning on Slashdot yesterday morning pushed me over the edge. I've watched most of two episodes of <I>Firefly</I> now, and I just don't get what all the fuss is about. In a final act of sacrilege, I'll note that I didn't like <I>The Matrix</I>, either (an opinion I've held since long before the sequels came out, when it became somewhat fashionable to dislike the entire series).
