Fall Happens
It’s been unusually hot the past week…a wave of 90°-plus days just shouldn’t stick around Nebraska into October. However, when such weather oddities do occur, they tend to end very dramatically. Last night at 11 p.m., it was still 80° here in Lincoln; my sister in Rapid City called to tell me that it was 30° and light snow was falling. As I type this, there’s a 30° temperature difference across the state.
I do like hot weather and all, but it’s just not as much fun when the sun isn’t out long enough to enjoy it for several hours in the evening.
