Overhead sign gantry before the 56th St. intersection in Lincoln. Until the early 1990s, US 6 and 77 were multiplexed through north Lincoln, and US 77 turned to the north here. NE Link 55W is not very conspicuous on any signage at either terminus.

There is no END sign for NE Link 55X (which aren't all that common on Nebraska link and spur routes); technically, NE Link 55X ends between the I-80 Exit 405 overpass bridges.

Overhead sign for Exit 405 in north Lincoln; Link 55X is unsigned from I-80. US 77 leaves I-80 at this exit and heads north toward Wahoo. The northern terminus of Link 55X is at the end of the exit ramp.
